9. Booker T vs. Jeff Jarrett (Bash At The Beach - July, 2000)
Bash At The Beach 2000 has become an infamous Pay-Per-View in wrestling history, almost exclusively for the situation involving Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo. This was a weird time to be a fan, especially a casual one, as Russo attempted to blur the lines between fantasy and reality, pretty much telling fans that Hogan didn't want to do the job to Jarrett in the World Title match. As a result, Hogan left the building, which was apparently part of the storyline. Yes, it was all very confusing, but led to a lawsuit being filed when Russo called Hulk a "big, bald son of a bitch". Whatever the case, it was Booker T who was later penned to face Jarrett for the World Title, and even though there was little preparation, the duo had a pretty cool match. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1tpfo_bash-at-the-beach-2000-jarrett-vs-b_news This would be Booker T's first WCW World Title, something fans had been crying out to see for a long time. As far back as 1998, Booker looked ready to be the man in the promotion, but the rise of Goldberg and heavy reliance on the nWo would keep him from reaching the top of the mountain. The circumstances surrounding how the man's first World Title win came about are sketchy, but it was a nice moment to see such a hard worker get rewarded.
