10. D-Generation X Vs. Legacy - Hell In A Cell Match (Hell In A Cell 2009)

Starting off the list is a match often forgotten about in terms of October WWE lore: the Hell In A Cell tag-team match between D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels & Triple H) against Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr).

Even as Hell In A Cell has come to be a yearly event for WWE since 2009, tag-team contests held inside the roofed cage have not been a common occurrence. One rare exception was In 2009, when Triple H and Randy Orton's never-ending feud transitioned into Triple H and Shawn Michaels' attempting to thwart off Orton cronies, DiBiase and Rhodes.

This match began outside the cell as Legacy attacked DX as they were making their entrance. Triple H was locked outside of the structure for much of the contest as Rhodes and DiBiase targeted Michaels' knee inside the ring.
