10 Impulse Reactions Following WWE Money In The Bank 2017
5. RKO, Rinse, Repeat
With ideas patently lacking following WWE blowing their stack with the original title switch last month, it fell to the Singh Brothers to...fall, in order to provide the painfully obvious setup to another disappointing finish.
Thrown out by the referee after rampant interference, their ejection was a compromise for Orton, who knew he would win by disqualification (and thus not reclaim the WWE Title), should their meddling continue. However, their sudden and unmotivated turn on the ringside legends powered Randy Orton into life, and a kicking mirroring their Backlash shoeing quickly followed.
This again gave Jinder the necessary rest and set up Orton up to get caught with the Khallas mere seconds after he rolled into the ring. It could have been a replay of the May finish, other than the teeth-grinding predictability that came with the sequel.
Post-show rumours have suggested that the duo may have a Punjabi Prison feud-ender, which would at least make sense when contextualised with the endless meddling from Mahal's goons. Thankfully, just something different to look at in between vascular lads synching in chinlocks would be ideal if the company are persistent in presenting this dire match for the third time.
