10 Leading Contenders To Win 2022 WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Matches

2. Rhea Ripley

Stumbling somewhat in the time since thoroughly shaking up Raw's Women's division with a WrestleMania debut that saw her topple the Empress of Tomorrow, Rhea Ripley has had to navigate some unfortunately dull tag team waters over the last year or so.

Fleetingly-successful pairings with both Nikki A.S.H. and Liv Morgan both inevitably ended in disaster, with the odd high nestled in these underwhelming times, in the form of a Women's Tag Team title reign, being largely overshadowed by lazy-to-little real storyline meat to chomp down on.

That now all looks set to change in the wake of Ripley's recent decision to align herself with Edge's Judgement Day faction as it's hard to imagine WWE ever dreaming up a scenario that would see the faction's Hall-of-Fame-ring-wearing-leader not prominently featured on Monday Nights.

This and Ripley's unquestionable talent make her a stand-out favourite to come home with the briefcase on her first attempt as Judgement Day look to mark themselves out as the new all-conquering unit on the block.

And with their numbers game looking likely to improve even further in the coming months, betting against a long-running Ripley reign as the Nightmare Champion post-cash-in would be a lemming's error.
