10 Legendary WWE Superstars With Forgettable WrestleMania Careers

2. Goldberg

Goldberg's sole WrestleMania match will live on in infamy, for all the wrong reasons. Considering the push he received upon his debut the night after WrestleMania XIX, many fans expected the former WCW Champion to headline the event's 20th edition the next year. It was a reasonable, if not predictable expectation. Under another set of circumstances, Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg would've closed the show at WrestleMania XX and would have been the culmination to a hot, highly-anticipated feud, especially if Vince McMahon's personal preference came into play. Unfortunately, Goldberg and Lesnar had a truly embarrassing WrestleMania XX match. The crowd turned on both Bill and Brock since it was pretty much confirmed that this would be the final match for both men, neither choosing to re-sign with WWE. Lots of stalling, lots of awkward chanting and a very little in the way of real action. Yup, this one had it all... Since Goldberg has no other WrestleMania appearance to make up for it, he's near the top of this list.
