10 Legendary WWE Superstars With Forgettable WrestleMania Careers

By Matt Davis /

8. Razor Ramon

For as big of a superstar as Razor Ramon, aka Scott Hall, was in the wrestling business, his WrestleMania career does not compare to the rest of it. Really though, that's a compliment. Granted, his biggest WrestleMania moment is one of the all-time greats in his ladder match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X, but considering the Hall Of Fame career that Scott had, one WrestleMania moment, no matter how big, doesn't match up to his entire body of work. Razor wrestled Bob Backlund in a nothing match at WrestleMania IX, had a non-title match despite wrestling the Intercontinental Champion at XI, and didn't even appear on the broadcast of WrestleMania XII since he was suspended and on his way out of the company en route to WCW. When he returned six years later, he did wrestle Steve Austin but the entire card was overshadowed by the Icon vs. Icon match-up of Hollywood Hogan vs. The Rock. Both Hall and Austin have went on record to say that they were disappointment with their effort on that show, for various reasons. Scott Hall is a legend and his sole 'WrestleMania moment' is legendary, but it's with the utmost respect to his career when it's said that his WrestleMania record doesn't hold up the prestige of Razor Ramon or Scott Hall as a whole.
