The man who is synonymous with the Television Title, as well as being synonymous with toughness in professional wrestling, Arn Anderson holds the record for the longest combined time with the title. Over his four reigns, he held the strap for 870 days, some 120 longer than the next best. Double A's final run with the title clocked in at some 161 days. Beginning with victory over Johnny B. Badd, this reign would come to an end at the hands of The Renegade, WCW's attempt at parodying the Ultimate Warrior. His third reign lasted 125 days, defeating the Z-Man (Tom Zenk) for the title in January 1991 and dropping it to Bobby Eaton four months later. It was during this reign that the strap finally became known as the WCW World Television Championship. His first two reigns clocked in at 248 and 336 days respectively, but as they were part of the NWA era they do not qualify for this list.
