10 Major Booking Mistakes WWE Has Already Made With WrestleMania 36

10. They Think Roman Reigns Vs. Goldberg Is A Big Deal

Rumour has it that WWE is in negotiations with various over the top streaming services to host this year's WrestleMania, and that's why they've enlisted Goldberg to defend his newly won Universal Championship in a match they clearly view as being a major draw. Well, it is, but probably only if you grew up watching Nitro on a Monday night.

Goldberg's WWE work has always been somewhat disappointing, and while his rivalry with Brock Lesnar was entertaining, Super ShowDown made it clear that the 53-year-old doesn't have the explosiveness he did in 2016. His Spears looked like they wouldn't knock the wind out of a baby, while that Jackhammer was... well, it was laughable.

If Goldberg turns heel between now and WrestleMania, it could help, but either way, Roman Reigns is likely going to be treated as a hero for dethroning him. That's a win on WWE's part, but this match actually being good would be a miracle (especially if Bill knocks himself silly on the way to the ring or is winded after that long walk down the ramp).

Ultimately, this "Battle of the Spears" is nowhere near as exciting as they think.
