In many ways, Andy Leavine's story in WWE is one of the most confusing of all time. Winning the 2011 reboot of Tough Enough, the big man was only really given a handful of main roster appearances before being sent back down to developmental. The full extent of his appearances on Monday Night Raw included being slapped by Vince McMahon and taking a 'Stone Cold Stunner' from his mentor on Tough Enough, all before appearing in a one-off backstage segment the next week with Austin. So, what was the point? WWE pretty much just told fans that the time they'd invested in watching the faux-reality program was a complete waste of time, because when you're going to treat the winner of your own competition like a colossal loser, you might as well not have bothered in the first place, right? To make things even more baffling, Leavine was already signed to a WWE developmental deal before Tough Enough, which means the promotion's top brass already knew what they were going to get with him. What an utter waste of everyone's time, including Leavine's. At least Maven, a previous Tough Enough winner, had been allowed matches on main television shows.
