10 Most Bizarre Endings In WWE Raw History

8. Triple H Vs. Curtis Axel

Curtis Axel's second debut match (after his disastrous first stint as fresh out of NXT 'Michael McGillicutty') saw him defeat Triple H. On the surface, this sounds like an incredibly bold and risky booking decision, one which could have made Axel a new star overnight.

However, the manner of his victory achieved entirely the opposite, instead putting the spotlight entirely on Triple H. Having just lost a gruelling bout to Brock Lesnar the previous night at Extreme Rules, The Game collapsed as the result of a "concussion" midway through his match with Mr Perfect's son.

Raw ended in incredibly deflating (and, of course, bizarre) fashion, as the COO was helped to the back in a desperate bid to draw sympathy from the crowd. It was such a strange, self-indulgent finish to the show, completely robbing Axel - and arguably even Brock - of any shine.
