10. Dean Who?

Let's kick things off with an example of very recent history being changed to suit WWE's narrative.

Ahead of Survivor Series 2022, the company have been promoting 10 Years of The Shield to mark a decade since the group's first appearance.

Promo videos for the show include footage of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in their Shield days, as well as some of their accomplishments after the group disbanded. But wasn't there a third guy in that faction?

Aside from a couple of shots of him in the background, WWE have completely erased Dean Ambrose from these videos.

You know, the guy who was the de facto leader of The Shield? The guy who broke the longest US Title reign record whilst a member of the group? The guy who Rollins turned on to break them up?

It's clear to see why this has been done - Ambrose currently wrestles for AEW as Jon Moxley - but WWE come across as incredibly petty by so blatantly hiding Dean in these promos.

He might be the competition's top guy, but Ambrose had so many great moments in WWE that deserve to be celebrated.

Instead, the Lunatic Fringe just got clipped.
