10 Most Boring Wrestlers Of 2016

6. The Club

For a good couple of years, Karl Anderson and Luke "Doc" Gallows weren't just loyal members of New Japan Pro Wrestling's Bullet Club - they were also the top tag team in the entire promotion. The squad racked up three reigns with the IWGP Tag Team Titles, including one that lasted an entire year.

In WWE, though, they haven't found anywhere near the same level of success - and that's not even the worst of it. More than being underrated, The Club have become completely wasted, reduced to a pair of generic, bald-headed heavies. Even when they were having their greatest success this year - working as AJ Styles's underlings - they still did nothing special but back up the fastest-rising star in the company.

The fall is particularly sad for fans of Anderson. While Gallows was always something of a capable-but-unspectacular big man, Anderson was one of the most underrated workers and talkers in New Japan, held back only by the fact that the company boasted the best roster in the sport. Many hoped he would break out in WWE, but being as how his depiction has been nothing short of boring, that doesn't seem terribly likely now.
