10 Most Embarrassingly Bad Wrestling Promos Of All Time

10. Steve Blackman: "Waking Up Is Hard To Do"

Steve Blackman! Remember him? He was a fixture of the Attitude Era, even though he never really got much higher on the card than, say, a Heath Slater today. He is best remembered for his hardcore matches and an oddball pairing with Al Snow that was far from the worst thing ever. What he is not remembered for are his promos.

In this cringe-inducing outing, he bizarrely chooses to speak perpendicular to the camera, moving his pointed fingers up and down in time with an imaginary Jane Fonda workout. He threatens Ken Shamrock, challenging him him to a match that sounds unwatchable even in an interview promoting it. Worst of all, Blackman recites his lines as if Terry Taylor gently nudged him awake ten seconds before the camera began rolling.

Then, out of nowhere, Blackman, his voice quaking with rage, screams only the last two words of the promo and stalks off, leaving Terry Taylor staring confusedly at what he had just witnessed.
