10 Most Epic WWE Debuts Ever
2. Kane (WWE Bad Blood 1997)
The Undertaker's debut was unsettling, as was befitting of 'The Deadman', but Kane arguably takes home the prize for most terrifying inaugural WWE appearance.
As 'Taker was about to beat Shawn Michaels in Hell in a Cell at Badd Blood 1997, the lights suddenly dimmed, and the room was filled with sinister organ sounds, deep red lighting, and a sense of foreboding. Accompanied to the ring by 'The Deadman's former manager Paul Bearer, Kane was a masked mountain of a man, and he soon made his presence known by ripping the cell door off its hinges and throwing a defensive Earl Hebner into the unforgiving steel wall.
Staring down 'The Phenom', Kane summoned pyro from the turnbuckles, before levelling The Undertaker with his own patented Tombstone Piledriver. For once in his already impressive career, not only did The Undertaker look doubtful, he looked weak and scared, as though a new monster had appeared to reign supreme over the squared circle.
