10 Most Heart-Breaking WWE Moments Of The 2010s
2. Kharma Breaks Down
The wrestling journey of Kia Stevens is a long and intricate one.
Stevens, also known as Awesome Kong, worked her way through the unforgiving Japanese training system, before moving back to the US and dominating the independent scene with her incredible mix of size and power.
Kong helped mould the Impact (FKA TNA) Knockouts Division. Her battles with the likes of Gail Kim, Angelina Love, and ODB are legendary and changed the way in which women's wrestling was perceived in North America.
After becoming an icon of the independent scene, Kong finally made it to WWE in 2011, under the name Kharma. However, it would be less than a month before things started to go astray for her.
On an episode of Raw in May, Kharma interrupted a tag team match. However, instead of wreaking havoc, she sank to her knees and began to cry.
The following week, it was revealed that Kharma was pregnant and was stepping away from the ring as the pregnancy was high risk. Sadly, the pregnancy would not be seen through, as Kharma suffered a miscarriage in December of that year.
Seeing anybody cry is never pleasant, but to see the usually tough as nails Kharma weep her eyes out on live TV was heartbreaking and the real life circumstances that followed only made things worst.
