CM Punk seems a million miles away from returning to WWE screens, or even having anything to do with the company at all. At loggerheads numerous times throughout his run, Punk has never been afraid to give his opinion, and has been viewed as a necessary nuisance by the company on occasion, who are more than aware that he carries tremendous weight with the fans. AJ Lee's own future is up in the air - currently taking time off to nurse injuries, the breakout star of the past few years in WWE's female division has reportedly been hinting that she's looking for an extended sabbatical from the promotion. Whether or not this has anything to do with Punk is anyone's guess, but there's always a chance the duo could re-assert themselves on WWE in the future. It doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon, and the man himself may claim otherwise, but it's difficult to say for sure that we've seen the last of CM Punk in WWE. AJ Lee and her husband, who wed last Summer, would be quite the force backstage, if they were both under contract.
