10 Most Soul-Destroying WWE Losses Of All Time

By Jamie Kennedy /

1. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania XXX)

Going 21 consecutive matches at WrestleMania without defeat, The Undertaker's winning run was one of the most valuable storylines WWE have ever had. It could be argued that 'The Streak' didn't really become a thing until it was mentioned on television as a means to set up 'Taker's next 'Mania opponent, but the fact remains that WWE will never see anything quite like it again, intentional or otherwise. Make no bones about it, people were authentically stunned when Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, and Paul Heyman has since went on record as saying he couldn't believe the heavy atmosphere around ringside following the three count. It was like the air had been sucked from the building, and WWE cameras didn't miss the chance to capture several spectators looking like they'd just seen a ghost. Nobody saw this one coming, despite what some will say, it was handled perfectly. With that said, there are still many fans who feel it was a mistake ending the winning run, especially on a man who doesn't appear to have a long term future with WWE.
