10 Most Volatile WWE Crowds Ever

5. Unforgiven 2006

Yet another anti-Cena crowd here, which once again came about by the leader of the Cenation finding himself behind enemy lines. At Unforgiven 2006, Toronto€™s Air Canada Centre welcomed their hometown hero Edge as he defended his WWE Championship in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Given that this was a chapter from that epic Cena vs. Edge rivalry, no prizes for guessing who was the face and the heel. Then again, given that this went down in Canada, there are no prizes for guessing whether or not the crowd adhered to such customs. As Jerry Lawler proclaimed on commentary, this may have been €œthe first time I€™ve heard anyone cheer this guy€. That€™s not only a testament to Edge€™s work as a heel, but a testament to the sheer volatility of this Toronto crowd. Donning blue tights (perhaps in homage to the Blue Jays?) Edge was supported from start to finish. But ultimately, it was Cena who emerged victorious having sent Edge crashing through a pair of tables, much to the chagrin of those in attendance.
