5. Curt Hawkins And Zack Ryder

Yes, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder have teamed up before (this is the last one, I promise). They were underlings of Edge known as "The Edgeheads" and, in 2008, they actually won the WWE Tag Team Titles. After they split, Ryder had his ups and downs, while Hawkins floundered until he was inevitably released.

Today, both men are on Smackdown, and they could easily come together in order to form a team once again. Yes, Ryder is currently teaming with Mojo Rawley as The Hype Bros, but Rawley is terrible and the team is a joke. The fact that they actually made it to the semifinals of the tag team title tournament (twice) is only indicative of the depth issues in the division.

If Rawley were to turn heel on Ryder, Hawkins could make the save, reuniting the tandem. Then, the two longtime friends could both adopt Ryder's Long Island-inspired gimmick, becoming a halfway decent babyface tandem.
