With Alberto Del Rio recently dropping the United States Championship, bigger things may lie ahead for the former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio is one of the premier performers WWE has on their roster who has name recognition and is currently healthy. While his WrestleMania plans have yet to be cemented, a future match with Roman Reigns could become the headline for one of WWE's early Summer PPVs, if Alberto is protected from now until then. Reigns and Del Rio previously met in the semi-finals of the Survivor Series' WWE Championship tournament (in which Roman advanced). The only rematch thus far resulted in a "No Contest" as the League Of Nations, The Usos and Dean Ambrose got involved. This match isn't likely to break any records for buyrates or live gate receipts, but, if promoted properly, WWE could do worse than push Del Rio as a main event heel. For the potential it has to take place in the months following WrestleMania, it makes the list, but compared to the hype and excitement that would surround Reigns' other potential opponents on this list, it ranks tenth.
