Sadly, Luna Vachon is often one female performer overlooked when fans discuss the very best of the fairer sex to compete inside the squared circle. Playing her character perfectly, Vachon was entirely convincing as a psychotic nut job, and many magazine articles of the early-90's were dedicated to the idea of her stepping inside the ring to face off against the men of the WWF. That's how seriously Luna was taken, and rightly so. Usually seen accompanying Bam Bam Bigelow to ringside, Vachon excelled whenever the company asked her to wrestle, but a lot of fans don't really recall her work in WCW. Admittedly, it was a brief run, and one that could have been a lot more remarkable than it was.In the lead up to the Slamboree Pay-Per-View in 1997, Luna was hell bent on destroying new WWE Hall Of Fame inductee Medusa, but would just come up short every time the pair faced one another. Undoubtedly, WCW should have done more with Luna Vachon, she could have been a great addition to the roster.
