The past year was rumored to have been The Undertaker's last hurrah, one more loop as he looks towards retirement at WrestleMania 32 in his home state of Texas. If that's true, a WWE Championship victory could be in The Deadman's future. Whether that means he surprisingly enters and wins the Royal Rumble, as detailed here, or he makes it his WrestleMania quest to once again hold the WWE Championship before calling it a career, only time will tell. We've seen numerous Undertaker WrestleMania matches where the title has not been involved over the past decade, and one way to add additional intrigue to his appearance would be to put the strap on the line. The company did it with John Cena vs. The Rock II at WrestleMania 29, so the company does understand the value of adding the WWE Championship to a match that would otherwise "not need it". Perhaps The Undertaker's Road To WrestleMania, whether it's his last match or not, involves the Deadman winning the title one more time before riding off into the sunset.
