3. Joe Vs Nakamura III: Last Man Standing

Samoa Joe shocked the world by winning the NXT Championship for a second time, using sheer brutality to overcome Nakamura. People are speculating that this means Nakamura's call-up is imminent, but NXT don't like to let their talent leave without utilising their rematch clause.

Just like Joe's feud with Finn Balor, their series of matches required a blowout finale to cap off their rivalry. In that case the final showdown came in NXT's first ever steel cage and NXT are unlikely to simply repeat that blueprint for Joe and Nakamura. Similarly the '2-out-of-3 falls' and 'ironman' stipulations have been used to recently meaning that NXT should be looking for something new to cap of their struggle.

Personally I believe a 'Last Man Standing' match is perfect for these two brawlers, as character-wise their styles align perfectly for the brutality required to make a match like this work. They have been beating each other to a pulp already to this point, so including their barbarism as the match stipulation makes perfect sense.
