To send WWE a message, fans are going to need to take drastic action. Something we haven't really seen before is a mass of the audience literally turning their back on the product. A few fans tried it at recent Raw shows in Chicago, but they ended up looking like idiots when no one else turned around. Imagine if the entire front rows were united in their loathing of the WWE / Reigns narrative. Imagine if every audience member who appeared on the Raw camera shot had their backs turned to the ring when Roman Reigns was cutting a babyface promo. It would make the 'hero' narrative look beyond silly. This sort of visual protest wo uld have major implications for the WWE. It would mean that the Raw broadcast presentation was twisted to the fan power rather than the WWE power. Right now WWE just push a segment out and expect the crowd to co-operate. The "backs to the ring" would quickly make WWE take notice and amend their Mania plans. It would be unacceptable to them to see fans on screen turning their backs. It would be something that WWE would want to nip in the bud before it became a trend like the "JBL" and other joke chants. So, how about it? Could the turning your back movement get fired up in a city like New York or Chicago?
