5. Emerging Talent

Before Daniel Bryan went out injured in 2014, take a look at where Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns sat in the WWE pecking order. One year later, look at where Rollins and Reigns are now in relation to Bryan. Seth is now WWE Champion and Roman is now (or at least pushed as) the number one babyface. One year ago, Bryan was both champion and number one babyface. Now he's just some guy jerking the curtain and filling the mid card. If TV needs a solid main event performance, he's called on, but he isn't one of the main top guys. A lot of it is simply due to the talent that emerged in his absence. Rollins is the best wrestler in the world and has overshadowed Bryan's status as the best worker. Reigns whether fans want to admit it or not has become a very big star. Then you've got everyone else like Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt who raised their stock in the last twelve months. Last year's Mania 30 Champion is now just one of the pack.
