Remember when Michael McGillicutty (now Curtis Axel) cut the infamous Genesis of McGillicutty promo? Its widely regarded as one of the single worst promos of all time. Its also amazingly hilarious nearly every time you watch it. Yes, sometimes wrestling is bad. But sometimes, its so bad, its good. Websites like Botchamania take great pride in collecting in-ring flubs and goof-ups and serve them up in immensely entertaining highlight reels. Even if the WWE is in a slump, fans can still rejoice in watching every week, if only to spot a botched move here and there, or to snicker at a brutal promo. The current feuding Bella Twins storyline, for instance, is a veritable goldmine for awkward line delivery and laughable acting. The WWE itself has no problem with sifting through its history and picking out some notoriously ridiculous angles, such as the torrid love affair between Mark Henry and Mae Young, resulting in the later giving birth to a disembodied hand. Who knows if whatever is being offered up today by the WWE will be looked at in a decade from now as one of the most ridiculous spectacles ever put forward by the company?
