Even after multiple playbacks and time to let the developments settle in, it's still hard to believe that WWE has finally granted Dean Ambrose passage into the main event picture.

Money in the Bank had already been an outstanding show as Seth Rollins celebrated his return WWE World Heavyweight Championship victory after a thrilling battle with Roman Reigns. Ambrose's dramatic MITB cash-in and resulting victory was the only thing that could make this event better than it already was.

Considered to be WWE's perennial bridesmaid, Ambrose claiming his first world title is the biggest sign yet that WWE is heading in a more positive direction. Although the victory could have been spotted from the mile away, it was one that had to happen for all faith in WWE's creative team to be restored.

Dean Ambrose joins the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan as the latest addition to the club of World Champions WWE at one point didn't believe were championship material.
