10 Reasons Money In The Bank Was WWE's Best Show Of The Year
4. The Ladder Match Wasn't A High Spot Fest
Too many times in the past has the Money in the Bank Ladder Match been plagued with excessive high spots. It's easy to understand the thinking behind so many crazy stunts in one match, but the frequency in which they have occurred both make the moves appear less significant and even overshadow the importance of the briefcase itself.
Refreshingly, that was not that case in this match.
All six competitors took turns doing something fun with the ladders at their disposal, but at no point did the spots feel as though they were more important than the contest. On the contrary, every big move and moment heightened the drama surrounding the briefcase.
While we're on the subject, specific credit needs to go to Kevin Owens for taking a brutal Michinoku Driver onto the side of a ladder at the hands of Sami Zayn. That looked downright violent.
