10 Reasons The Shield Will Inevitably Reform In 2015

7. Dean Ambrose Has Been Floundering

As the face of The Shield, Dean Ambrose had limitless potential. When he was cut loose from the group in 2014, he experienced the most radical departure from his Shield character of all three men in the group. While Reigns stayed true to his Shield roots and Rollins became a corporate plaything, Ambrose morphed into an erratic, unpredictable Superstar not unlike the great Mick Foley. However, with no Hardcore Championship division, WWE doesn't seem to be quite sure what to do with Ambrose. He's had some incredible feuds, like his battles against the arresting Bray Wyatt, and he's participated in street fights that made all Attitude Era lovers fondly reminisce. Besides his feud with Rollins shortly after The Shield broke up as well as his matches against Wyatt though, Ambrose hasn't done much. Getting back together with Rollins and Reigns would put Ambrose front and center, which is where he belongs. If he kept his extreme tendencies, The Shield would have another exciting dimension.
