10 Reasons Why Roman Reigns Must Turn Heel At WWE Survivor Series

Rollins out...Reigns in?

Last week, I wrote an article detailing why John Cena must be turned heel immediately. Long story short, I felt - and still feel - that a Cena heel turn would bring lapsed fans back to WWE and bring ratings up to a level that the company hasn't seen in years. At the same time, though, I realize that calling for a Cena heel turn is nothing but a pipe dream - Cena moves merchandise and WWE typically doesn't take such huge risks with their top stars. This time, I'd like to call for a more realistic turn - one which would make television equally exciting, if not draw in old fans who have been turned off by a stagnant product. As a result of two big wins on last week's Raw, Roman Reigns earned a WWE Championship match with Seth Rollins at the Survivor Series. That match is off the table, as news recently broke that Rollins has been put out of action for several months with a knee injury. A tournament will be held at Survivor Series to crown a new champion, with Reigns undoubtedly at the centre of it. Reigns has been penciled in as WWE's next big star for well over a year, and many fans and insiders believe that, after the stumble in his path that was WrestleMania, his time has arrived. They're right - Roman Reigns has to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series. But he also has to turn heel.
