What's great about WrestleMania weekend is that it's not just about the one show. In fact, there are many things to do there whether it's WWE-related or involving other wrestling companies. We already know that WWE is going to fly in their entire roster for the weekend with four days of WWE Axxess events, which gives fans a chance to meet performers at a pretty good price (about $50). Then there's the NXT Takeover event that will take place on the Friday night. On the Saturday night there will be the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Sunday night is obviously WrestleMania, which could run for five hours long like it did this year. Then on Monday they'll have a live Raw which is frequently more entertaining than WrestleMania itself. In addition to all that, other wrestling companies head into town to do shows of their own such as Ring of Honor and Evolve. The Wrestlecon event has been a highlight for me just because it allows fans the opportunity to meet wrestling stars of the past and present that aren't currently contracted to WWE. Think of WrestleMania as the main course, but there are plenty of other options available for you if you make the trip.
