10 Reasons Why WWE Creative Is Nuts

3. They Don't Listen To The Fans Enough

Normal 0 false false false EN-CA X-NONE X-NONE !-->How could they not put Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble match? Fans were clamoring for that. It's not hard to listen to them. The next day on Raw, after fans let them know how much they hated the Rumble match, they had to re-write the script and put Bryan in the opening segment to ask that question. The answer that Triple H gave was that he already had a match, which Bryan replied to by saying he would have been in it if he was asked. The real reason WWE didn't put Bryan in the Rumble was that they knew the fans were going to respond to him so much that it would take away from the return of Batista, who they wanted to be the top babyface in the match. That idea failed miserably, of course. At least we can give WWE credit for finally listening to the fans because when they booed Batista at the Royal Rumble and then at Elimination Chamber with the "Boo-tista" chants, they turned him heel. They did listen to fans there. It took a while, but they finally figured it out.

For a company that says they care what the fans think, they have a weird way of showing it sometimes.
