These days, The Undertaker is regarded as a true legend in WWE and rightly so: the sheer amount of memorable matches and feuds this guy has had could fill several books, he really has accomplished that much over the years. Making his official debut as part of Ted DiBiase's Survivor Series team in 1990, the character had previously been called Kane The Undertaker during dark matches and on WWF Superstars. Throughout the early years of the gimmick, 'Taker was a slow-moving zombie, which didn't exactly go hand-in-hand with fast-paced, dynamic matches. Slowly but surely morphing and evolving over the years, The Undertaker has kept himself relevant. Absolutely nobody could have taken up this role and been as successful, or lasted quite as long, as Mark Calaway has.
