5. Tye Dillinger

Speculation over Tye Dillinger's involvement in the Royal Rumble has reached such fever pitch that should he not enter at number ten, the other superstar faces a serious crowd backlash.

Simple chants have proven incredibly effective in helping get a superstar over, but Dillinger deserves more credit than that. His stellar in-ring skills and experience (combined with a versatile charisma that works as either heel or babyface) have made him a truly under-appreciated NXT standout.

It remains to be seen quite how well this cult popularity would transfer over into the cluttered main roster, but he should at least be rewarded with a cameo role in the Rumble, nonetheless.
