Road Dogg has been involved with SmackDown creative for quite a while now, and if reports earlier this week are to be believed, could have even landed himself a job as head writer for the blue brand.

Rumbles often feature nostalgic acts popping in for a very brief stint (no I don't mean Big Show; recent entries including Bubba Ray Dudley and The Godfather), and it wouldn't be too big a stretch to imagine the former DX man strutting down the ramp, microphone in hand.

Sure, Road Dogg may not be the most compelling returnee, but Rumbles need light-hearted moments to counteract the glut of excitement and rapidly-changing action. Few know how to pop a crowd quite as well as Mr. James.
