10 Small Details Wrestling Still Can’t Get Right

6. People Appearing Out Of Nowhere Backstage

Here's another silly production habit, and it happens all the time.

Wrestler A is cutting a promo in front of the promo backdrop when suddenly Wrestler B appears out of nowhere in front of them. Star A, who seemingly lacks peripheral vision, doesn't react until they're a step or two away, and they go on to trade banter whilst facing the camera and barely looking at one another.

That's not the only example of people appearing like they've crash-landed through the ceiling. Above, you'll see Sasha Banks walking (another illogical piece of filmmaking from wrestling's stalker-like camera crew) before backstage interviewer Sarah Schreiber leaps out from a doorway to accost her for some comments.

The whole thing is terribly contrived. If Schreiber knew she needed to catch a word with Banks, she'd go to her locker room or set it up with management first. She definitely wouldn't hang around in a random hallway hoping that Sasha happened to stroll past.
