Love him or hate him, the only way that John Cena is avoiding a Hall of Fame induction is if he has secretly joined Al Quaeda whilst nobody was watching... Cena may be a mediocre wrestler; he may also lack the drawing power or genuine charisma of other long-term WWE standard bearers like Hulk Hogan or The Rock. He may even have a veritable army of detractors that do not believe he was ever worthy of the top spot in the worlds biggest wrestling company, but all of that is immaterial when all is said and done. John Cena flat out deserves to go into the HoF. On the strength of his tireless charity work alone, he has earned the honour. However, it isnt just that. Consider the following. John Cena has been at the top of the WWE for a decade now. He is, like it or not, one of the most decorated professional wrestlers in history. He has been the clean-cut face of the company that has helped them turn their reputation around in the wake of steroid related deaths, drug scandals and the fallout from the dreadful Chris Benoit incident. He has the family McMahon behind him 100% (and then some) and is unquestionably the single biggest star in the company today. John Cena has been a featured performer at the last nine (seriously, count them) consecutive WrestleManias - and always occupies a Main Event slot at the companys premier event, year in, year out. Some of us fans may not like him all that much, but ANYONE that can stay on top of the WWE for a decade straight - and continually be the star of the show - flat out deserves a spot in the HoF. You can hate him as much as you like, but it is going to happen one day.
