10 Stars That Are Definitely Future WWE Hall Of Famers

8. Rey Mysterio

In his prime, Rey Mysterio was the most innovative, most explosive and most charismatic masked wrestler in the history of the WWE. His streetwise, urban take on the classic Mexican luchadore style was inspired and earned him a legion of WWE fans that eagerly joined the other legions that had breathlessly followed him from his tenures in AAA and WCW. In WWE, Mysterio achieved what no wrestler his size (not to mention a masked Mexican wrestler) had ever done before. He held the World Heavyweight and WWE Championships €“ and, by doing so, actually broke through at the top level. For an extended time, he was a genuine WWE Main Eventer, which is nothing short of miraculous when one considers the usual size/shape/look of a WWE top gun. Rey Mysterio is a genuine wrestling phenomenon, who reinvented American wrestling at least once, united Mexican and US styles of wrestling and who helped bridge a gap between the €˜Attitude€™ and €˜PG€™ eras, by appealing heavily to fans of both. In addition, he seems to be spending the twilight of his career putting over the next wave of WWE talent and using his own reputation to strengthen theirs. Any way you slice it, Rey will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at some point within the next decade, set your watch by it.
