There isn't much question that Dean Ambrose is a WWE World Heavyweight Champion waiting to happen. From his unique look to his excellent in-ring and mic skills to his incredible ability to connect with a crowd, he has all the tools to thrive as a main event caliber competitor. The only thing he needs now is an opportunity. Ambrose branched off into singles competition a few short months removed from the retirement of the World Heavyweight Championship, but had he been on his own earlier, he likely would have been world champion by now. Similar to Owens, he has always been prominently featured on SmackDown and would have been a major focal point of the program. Instead, The Lunatic Fringe has been relegated to being Roman Reigns' right-hand man in his feud with the League of Nations. With the World Heavyweight Championship around, he could be competing at the main event level where he belongs.
