10 Superstars Who Could Debut (Or Return) On WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42
6. Paige
Reports last summer indicated that WWE management wouldn't entertain thoughts of bringing Paige back into the mix. That was then, so things might've changed heading towards the midway point of 2026. Saraya herself has readily admitted that she misses that old ring name when talking to the media, so she's clearly up for a return.
The pitch here? That AJ Lee retains her Women's Intercontinental Title vs. Becky Lynch at 'Mania 42, then comes out to celebrate on the episode of Raw afterwards. Suddenly, a scream would screech across the PA, and Paige would skip her way out onto the stage as fans roared their approval.
This would be a déjà vu moment for AJ.
Back in 2014, Paige debuted on the main roster by congratulating then-Divas Champ Lee before beating her for the belt on the same night. In other words, her reprise would represent a bit of a full circle moment for both women, which is something neither of them could've predicted nor expected given Saraya's health issues and AJ's retirement from the biz.
How time changes everything! You couldn't script a better comeback arc for Paige than this. Naturally, WWE would need to know for sure that she was 100% capable of working matches, but that shouldn't be a problem after her stint in AEW. In total, Saraya worked 27 bouts for All Elite, so she's shaken off plenty of ring rust.
This would be a neat nostalgic pop for the show too, so that's something for the writers to stop and think about for a sec.
