Saraya will NOT be reprising her WWE role as 'Paige' anytime soon, it seems.

WWE is not currently interested in re-signing the former Paige, Saraya.

This is per BodySlam.net, who stated that despite Saraya "being openly vocal about wanting to return," WWE "has no interest." No internal discussions over rehiring the former Divas Champion have been held, and, despite speculation linking Saraya to the event, she wasn't considered for an appearance at the all-women's premium live event Evolution 2025.

Saraya commented on the prospect of a WWE return in March, saying, while featuring on Booker T's Hall of Fame podcast:

"I just appreciate WWE so much, and the idea of going somewhere else was only because of the potential of my brother being there. I love WWE, I would definitely go there. Yeah, absolutely, it would be silly not to. If there's an opportunity to do something fun, hell yeah, I'll jump on board."

Saraya, 32, has been a free agent since announcing her departure from AEW in March. She had been with the promotion since debuting at Grand Slam in Queens, New York on 21 September, 2022, initially working as a babyface opposite Britt Baker, before turning heel the following July.

In November 2022, Saraya wrestled her first match in five years, having retired due to injury issues suffered in late 2017. Her AEW tenure peaked when she captured the AEW Women's World Championship at All In in her home country, England, in August 2023.

Before AEW, Saraya had a long WWE run as Paige from 2011 until 2012, enjoying three singles title reigns. Post-retirement, she shuffled through several different non-wrestling roles, including SmackDown General Manager and WWE Backstage co-host.

For now, Saraya remains a free agent.
