9. Ambrose Wanted To Start Wrestling At 16, But Had To Wait Until 18

When Good was fully entrenched into watching wrestling, he found a flyer for the Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA) in his hometown of Cincinnati. When he attended his first event, he was able to see some future WWE stars such as Brian Kendrick and Jamie Noble in action and immediately knew that this was his calling. At age 16, he contacted the promoter Les Thatcher showing interest in training, but Thatcher said he should go to college, gain some weight, and wait a few years. Good's desire became an obsession, and he didn't want to go through all that trouble and wanted to become a wrestler right then and there.
