10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Hulk Hogan
Sex scandals, courtroom battles, racism allegations, WCW and beyond...
Mark the date, ladies and gentleman, because 27 October 2018 is the day Hulk Hogan returns to WWE. At least, that's what Hogan hinted at during an appearance at the National Sports Collectors Convention last weekend. He also said he could finally return to beat up Vince McMahon again.
Oh brother, brother.
This is just the latest chapter in what has been a whirlwind ride for Hulk since his glory days in the 1980s. There's been personal strife, a whole bucketload of legal problems (including allegations of racism, talk of suicide and a bizarre admission from the man himself about his penis), and an awful lot of controversy inside the ring too.
WWE's temporary pretence that one of their biggest ever stars didn't exist when the proverbial hit the fan in 2015 was flat out weird, though it must be said that the company had to do something to distance themselves from a media sh*tstorm. They had corporate sponsors to appease, after all. Still, they publicly denounced Hogan, and not for the first time.
Just ask The Huckster all about that...
