It was clear for all to see that Ronda was nervous when she took her bow at the 2018 Royal Rumble. Upon gatecrashing the conclusion of the first ever all-women's match, she unrealistically pointed at the big WrestleMania sign for an awkward amount of time. It was almost like Rousey was posing for a photoshoot.

She was, kind of, but her pointing seemed to go on for days. Meanwhile, fans sat and watched as WWE's cameramen lined up the perfect shot of their new star and announcers fawned over her arrival. The whole thing was very contrived, even more than typical wrestling fare.

Any revisitation of her proper debut by WWE has been shortened or ignored in favour of telling what happened next. It was a bit cringeworthy and lacked the loose, relaxed feel to her 'Mania 31 appearance three years earlier.
