10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Ronda Rousey
4. Her MMA Losses
Before reading this entry, take a quick look at this WWE.com photo gallery.
What do you see in the 24 pictures there? Determination, hard work, focus and Ronda Rousey kicking a whole load of butt across both judo and UFC, that's what. There's no mention of her trials and tribulations in the Octagon at all. That, dear readers, is not a coincidence.
You might be thinking it's obvious that WWE wouldn't want to show their biggest hire of the past few years in vulnerable positions, and you'd be right. Even so, this proves the point of this one; Ronda's two UFC losses (to Holly Holm at UFC 193 and Amanda Nunes at UFC 207) aren't something WWE enjoy talking about. They want everyone to forget they happened.
Rousey is presented on TV as someone who was so bored of dominating the MMA world that she decided to try her hand at wrestling. That neither tells the full story or acknowledges how many challenges the woman has personally overcome.
