The granite-thick goliath of the Wyatt Family wasn't (and still isn't) the most polished wrestler on the planet, and the fact that he was rushed to the main roster so suddenly didn't bode well for his growth. Given his size, you knew the suits in power would go ga-ga for him, and the push was imminent. Leave it to Jericho to put himself in position to help the cause. At Night of Champions last year, Jericho made a surprise appearance, teaming with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to battle Strowman, Bray Wyatt, and Luke Harper. He'd take the loss to Strowman and his lifting kata-gatame, trying to convey the danger of the giant's powerful grip. It was still too early to make something of Strowman, but the sentiment was there.
