10 Times WWE Totally Wasted Potential

10. Juventud Guerrera

WWE must have had the opportunity to pick up Juventud after the collapse of rivals WCW in 2001 - but for some reason it took a further four years for him to make his way north.

That, unfortunately, was a sign of things to come - and when the Lucha Libre legend finally did get back in the big time he was only there a couple of years - most of which spent as one-third of a stable named the "Mexicools".

That's not a terrible spot to be in if you're a young upstart, but Juventud already had a decade of mainstream experience under his belt. He was one of the leading lights in Eric Bischoff's thriving cruiserweight division, and could have occupied a similar role in WWE.

And though he did win the belt a couple of times he always felt like an after-thought, forever being snubbed in favour of more compelling "characters" like Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms (who, if anything, probably should have been going for the US Title).
