Former WWE writer Alex Greenfield is not a big man, and is a lot shorter than Vince McMahon. In fact, the writer describes himself as pretty diminutive on the whole, which perhaps makes it all the more surprising that he wouldn't back down from McMahon, even when it seemed the WWE owner was going to punch him. During a routine piece of filming for a backstage skit involving D-Generation X and Vince, the boss disagreed with a production call by Greenfield, who stood his ground. After McMahon had reminded him who fan the company, Greenfield swore and told Vince he had hired him, so he should listen to what the writer had to say. Furious that he'd been called out in front of other staff members, McMahon marched the writer out of the building and had a shouting match, with fans not too far away from the scene. It's almost funny to imagine how fans felt seeing the head of WWE getting heated with someone they didn't recognise.
