10 Unique Pitches To Save Struggling AEW Stars

10. Lio Rush

Despite numerous attempts, Lio Rush has never quite clicked in AEW. He has fun matches, but it never goes anywhere beyond having him around as a good hand.

While AEW doesn't discriminate as much about height compared to Rush's time in WWE, it's still a hurdle that is hard to overcome, even for someone as gifted in high-flying maneuvers as The Man of the Hour.

One move that would help out not only Rush, but many others who are in a similar position, would be to create an AEW Cruiserweight Championship. AEW can replace one of its three midcard titles (TNT, International, and Continental) with this to open up a whole new field of competition and do something WWE hasn't done in several years at this point—another means for AEW to stand out and be an alternative, like it was originally intended to be.

On top of that, though it isn't the most unique idea, Rush should join The Hurt Syndicate, as has been teased. He has a natural arrogance that he cannot tap into as a babyface, and if this title were created, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, and Bobby Lashley wouldn't be able to compete for it, so Rush would fit in nicely as their representative of that division.
