10 Ways Great Balls Of Fire Can Be WWE's Best Show Of The Year

5. Big Cass Goes Over Strong

Big Cass caught everyone by surprise when he was revealed as Enzo Amore’s attacker a few weeks ago. He has since made his former tag team partner his own personal punching bag, bullying and pushing him around at every opportunity, which has drawn some of the most fiery and impassioned promo work of Amore’s career.

It looks like WWE are setting Cass up as their next big heel, and it should start with a comprehensive victory over Enzo at the weekend. It shouldn’t be a squash, as that would essentially kill Amore’s singles run in the first match, but Cass’ triumph should never be in doubt. He should dominate from bell to bell, with Enzo restricted primarily to hope spots and flash roll-ups before falling to a valiant defeat.

The typical WWE 50/50 blueprint won’t work here. Cass is the one with singles potential, not Enzo. There’s no need for him to go back and forth with a man almost half his size in this instance, and a strong, convincing performance should springboard him to a greater push. Enzo, meanwhile, can show great heart and toughness in surviving Cass’ beatdown, further emphasising his position as one of Raw’s biggest underdogs.
